Today Jason and I participated in the "Easter Sun Run." This was an event to benefit
Youth Horizons, a Christian organization that matches adult mentors with children who may not have a positive or active male role model. Jason was recently matched with a 10-year-old boy from our community. He is very sweet and polite, and he was really excited to participate in the run. I'm so proud of Jason for taking on this rewarding responsibility. He really has a heart to help others...especially kids.
My co-worker, Christina, and her husband, Sean, also came to participate. Sean completed the 10K! He did great! Christina, Jason, and I signed up for the 2 mile walk. Although Jason generally likes to run, he had to take it easy since he had knee surgery a few weeks ago.
